I had the opportunity to be interviewed by Taryn Winter Bril from the C-Suite TV where we discussed the premise behind my book, “Leadership Sales Coaching”, which is that salespros are in essence corporate athletes and that they must be coached like athletes, not managed like employees.
My inspiration for the book came from studying the principles of great coaches like Nick Saban, Pete Carroll, Augie Garrido and powerful thought leaders like Marianne Williamson and Zig Ziglar. I applied the basis of their strategies to transform the corporate model of traditional managers into one of gladiator coaches. The effect of this is to unleash human performance in their teams and increase their profitability.
